This winter's EPIC Workshop brings the Master of Animation, Games & Interactivity together with the Master of Design Innovation & Technology for a cross-disciplinary sprint. Over the season, mixed teams take a brief from concept to working prototype — trading skills across animation, game design, interaction, and emerging technology.
The work happens in Building 91's VXLab, RMIT's experimental visualisation and immersive space. Students get hands on with kit that rarely makes it into a standard studio — from the Nova Ball to a rack of VR headsets — and are encouraged to build for it, not around it.
The result is a slate of projects that are playful, technically ambitious, and unafraid to get in over their heads. Check back here as the season's works surface.
